Its a great application, with an encyclopedic appraisal of spices, sauces, and mixtures.
There are a few shortcomings with the spelling of some names that need a careful revision (sauses, for sauces; caumberland, for Cumberland; bearnez, for béarnaise, for instance). Otherwise is an excellent reference.
Great app to have. Whether you are a pro or beginner, its a great way to learn about spices. Thanks guys and keep up the great work!!!
I am an average cook but am trying to expand in more types of food . Sometimes I am not sure what a spice is or what other things I can use it in and it tells you how its made what it looks like informs you on what other spices you can add with it. I just love knowing how to use spices in my food not for hotness but flavor.

Ive had this app for a very short time but I enjoyed using it. I love the suggestions that come with the history of the spice or herb. Im expanding my cooking into middle eastern and African cooking. This app will come in very handy in my explorations.
Its been fun learning how to use spices and make different types of dishes. My bf loves it too.
Some bad moments
After being asked to rate this app EVERY EFFING TIME I SAVED A SPICE and gave any hope of being allowed to enjoy the d4mn app until I left a review. Well, heres your one effing star! UPDATE- I am STILL being harassed for your effing review even after leaving one! This app is absolute 5hit! Deleting it now!
Definitely needs some work but could be a valuable kitchen tool!
Very attractive design. Little animations when you click on things are nice little touches. Has a lot of info, I look forward to using next time Im creating a new recipe. Some glaring typos need to be fixed though! Eg. "Favorits" -->favorites! Then it will look even more polished!
